The UETD (which is the Austrian version of the Turkish AKP, or better said: The AKP's extended arm in Austria) did a poll recently of 1.270 Austrians with Turkish background which found that ...

44% would leave Austria if they got 100.000€
17% would leave Austria if they got 50.000€
28% would leave Austria if they got between 10-20.000€

When asked where the 1.270 people polled would rater live, 88.8% replied "Turkey".

The 10-20 000€ sound like a good deal for the Austrian state, I imagine that it will especially older Turks, so imagine how much you could save if they decided to move to Turkey before they needed to use the elder services or hospitals. Also I would imagine that the unemployed would be more likely to move, so offer people with foreign citizenships, who haven't been emlployed in as example seven years 50 000€ to move to Turkey.

Ha, good question.  Nothing.  I just got to stop paying rent on my too-expensive-for-its-size-by-American-standards apartment.  So in that sense I guess I gained money.
