Voted for "NOTA (none of the above)".

This election really is like ebola vs. plague vs. AIDS vs. cholera vs. whatever.

I'm curious about what that does to "show endorsement", to be honest

I didn't get a sign. It just says "none" if I go to my profile ...

I voted for Clinton/Kaine!

Also updated my predictions for the first time in ages. My previous one had Strickland winning, and Ayotte winning comfortably, haha.

Hi - turnout update: so only 265 votes so far.  There have been over 735 active forum members in the last 5 days (nearly 600 in last 24 hrs) but only 265 votes so far. (only 36%).  Lets get those turnout numbers up! (note vote can be private or endorsement, individual preference)

https://uselectionatlas.org/MOCK/PRESIDENT/2016/mock.php

If you don't have an Atlas account, easy setup at:
https://uselectionatlas.org/membusers.php  or
https://uselectionatlas.org/members.php?type=form

(use the latter if you only have interest in site paid features, use the former if only interested in mock election/endorsements/predictions)

Enjoy,
Dave

"Enjoy"! Cheesy

Got my vote in Johnson. Texas is looking quite yellow.

Yeah but Stein has significantly higher support than Egg McMuffin so I think the colors should be switched for this time at least

I voted and enabled the option to publicly show my support, but I'm not getting that little sign under my avatar. Frustrating.

You have to do so both at the mock election and in your profile.  The one at the mock election does it for that election only.  The one in your profile does it for all elections.

You have to do so both at the mock election and in your profile.  The one at the mock election does it for that election only.  The one in your profile does it for all elections.

You also have to make sure your Atlas account is linked to your forum account.

It looks like it may be getting hacked now I see multiple votes going in back to back at same time intervals on the daily forum activity feed.

Not sure if this can be stopped but I question the validity of this going forward.

I really haven't seen any weird changes to the map, but r/enoughtrumpspam pointed out a 4chan post directing to the mock election map by some Trump supporter somewhere.

Maybe Dave should take a look at the registrations, if you scroll the daily forum contribution feed you can see what I mean on the Trump votes coming in simultaneously right after each other. The map are will start flipping if there's no way to control the validity of one regular user/one vote.

I think you're overreacting, the map's still blue as blue and Trump's in third place.

Switched to Castle. He's actually on the ballot in PA, where I am now registered due to college residency, so that's who I will be voting for instead of throwing my vote away on a write-in.

Yes, yes, point and laugh, I'm aware a Castle vote is thrown away whether it's write-in or not. It's an aesthetic difference.

EDIT: This entire thing was a charade. It was stupid and wrong.

Just looked at the forum activity feed...I rest my case. Trump votes within minutes of each other. The map will flip and you heard it here first. Must be easy to hack.
