I'm sure the epitome of 80s Yuppie douchebaggery never does drugs far, far, far worse than marijuana (alcohol doesn't count even though it's worse).

This meme is the worst.

Facts tend to be most inconvenient when you can't refute them.

Who cares?  The response to this is the reason why politicians lie.

Remember when blunders like this actually mattered? Those were simpler days.

lol since when is thinking/caring about other countries a sign of intelligence?

Last time I checked the two are positively correlated.

Donald Trump never seems to have any clue what he's talking about, yet he gets a free pass because he has an R next to his name?

I'd still support Johnson over Trump and Clinton if he didn't know what Atlanta was, much less Aleppo.

He could've tried to BS his way through it, but he was honest and asked a question. If you guys would really rather a lying politician (or, in the case of the Republican's douchebag, a lying businessman), then you might be worse off than I even thought.

So what?? At least he's correct on policy - the US should work with the Russian block to defeat ISIS. Like in WW2 when FDR extended the olive branch to Stalin amidst the consternation of many small minds (including Harry Truman) $hillary opposes the Russian/Chinese/Assad block. She wants to setup no-fly zones. She wants to arm extremists (including Al-Qaeda in Syria) to fight Assad. Her idiocy may well cause WW3. But hey if knowing the name of a city is more important, then elect her or the other sh**t-head and blow up the world...

I mean, it's disappointing, but it was just a stupid mistake. I don't really have a problem with it. Plus:

I'd still support Johnson over Trump and Clinton if he didn't know what Atlanta was, much less Aleppo.

I'm more concerned with how he still garbled his answer even after he realized it was a Syria question.  And again in the follow-up interview backstage.

At least Ron Paul knew how to stay on-message and keep (relatively) coherent.  This new batch of libertarians don't appear to have a clue.

No, he reiterated the only sensible policy position - that is working with Russia/China block against ISIS. Anything else is seriously risking WW3 - which is what $hillary is advocating with her no fly-zones and arming Al-Qaeda to fight ISIS and Assad.  And Trump just contradicts himself within a single sentence.

Why can't people see what is important here??

Maybe to some.  I thought it was cute, and funny.  I got quite a bit of mileage out of it.  We discussed it at length in the hot tub at the club last night.  Many jokes were told.  It's starting to get stale now, but I really enjoyed it while it lasted.

Of course it won't affect anyone's vote.  I am still considering Johnson.  If I end up voting for Hedges or Lyttle it certainly won't be because Johnson doesn't know what a lepo is.
