I see a suspicious lack of Trump supporters here... why so silent?

It's impossible to sympathize with a supposed multi billionaire whose party has just recently raised 90 million dollars in one month not paying staffers.

This. It's disgusting.

I actually would have liked to have seen how Trump supporters would've responded to each of them (well maybe not the polling thread), but instead we got silence. Hmmm...

You may want to consider the possibility that people who are going to vote for Trump is not the same thing as Trump supporters.

The voters are clearly a superset of supporters.

Some Rs can't support this guy even though we have no choice but to vote for him.  It's a principle thing.  I know Hillary supporters don't understand that.

Remind me again how Hillary is the corrupt, untrustworthy one...

Well, she's a woman, you see.

Maybe because she actually is...

Remind me again who paid a state attorney general off to stop investigating his fraud of a university?

In any case, they're definitely both bad.

And that's the end of another episode of our popular series "Moderate Heroism Gone Wild".
Tune in next week, same time, same channel.

A "principle thing" ?
Sounds like complete brainlessness.

So he treats his policy staffers like he does his contractors.
How would he like it if some of his renters in some of his properties filed for bankruptcy and didn't pay him?

Agree.
trump will probably stall on paying them for a number of months, and then try to cheat them out of their full salary by offering to pay them pennies-on-the-dollar.
Disgusting.

I don't understand why some people with so much money can be so cheap. To me, the more you have the more you should give. Philanthropy, charity, giving, sharing, magnanimity....these are concepts totally lost on Trump. I don't want a President like that running the country.

While I'm not sure if the staff not being paid was due to neglect or a lack of funds, I'm sure that the Trump campaign has made a huge error early in its life. Trump's position on campaign finance and his eagerness to brag about his ability to self fund has seriously limited his capacity to attract financiers. Would-be-campaign donors may have been frightened off and encouraged to hold their money for the future.

Looking at Trump's history, he has a pattern of stiffing people what he owes them. So it's not hard to believe that he's doing it to his campaign staff as well.

Also, the way he uses his facilities for GOP events and then charges a lot of money to his campaign also turns off a lot of potential donors, I've read. They don't like to see him paying himself out of donor money.
