To the extent it helps her win votes. Same with anti-vaxxer concessionism. Not a "true believer" in either far as I can tell.
So you're saying that she lies to gain votes? Lyin' Jill has a nice ring to it, I must admit...

I'm surprised at this obsession with Stein recently. Is Clinton that weak that the left wing alternative needs to be discredited?
Clinton is an embarrassment by nature, as every Bill & Obama crime can be stacked comfortably on her shoulders, as she is avoiding neither legacy and indeed selling a sort of continuationism as opposed to an Al Gore "I am my own man!" campaign. Clinton knows full well what her favorability numbers mean and thus is emphasizing this continuationism. Framing the question as Trumpism vs Clinton-Obamaism, and knowing that at the end of the day she'll win a victory in 2016 using this tactic due to Trump's position as a poison to non-Whites and the GOP's complete irrelevance among under-35s.

How is someone who's supportive of the goal of the UKIP a "left wing alternative"?
Are you really playing the "Opposition to the EU=right wing" card?
Really?
Yes. Stein is also as linked to Putin as any European far-right party.
Respond to this, then: I'm surprised at this obsession with Stein recently. Is Clinton that weak that the left wing alternative needs to be discredited?
How is someone who's supportive of the goal of the UKIP a "left wing alternative"?
By that logic, Tony Benn and Michael Foot weren't left wing.

Both are inane looks and I wouldn't vote for either if I was British, You do know that they're both dead? Not very respectful if so. and in Foot's case the Social Democratic breakaway shows I'm not alone. David Owen, who was one of the orchestra tors of the split, has been anti-Europe for years. Also the way he opened the door that deplorable and destructive woman is all the reason to regard him with ire.
Any leader would have lost in 1983. The public was simply in no mood for Labour. Foot actually did try to patch things up by sacking Benn and making Healey DLeader, for instance.
