I can't do math well, but if someone could figure out the above numbers, that would be great.

Will wait for an answer from Rep. DFW, then if it is OK with Blair, we can proceed to a final vote.

It seems pointless to have a minimum wage, then allow regions to have a minimum below that.

I would substitute "should" for "must." There's no point adding that clause if it is just a suggestion. Once Senator Cris agrees to that (or not), there will be 24 hours from that point for objections to the amendment.

Senator Cris, for clarification, does your amendment seek to remove Clause 3?

An objection has been made. We will now have a vote on the following amendment. Senators, please vote AYE, NAY or ABSTAIN.

Aye

Should this pass, I will introduce an amendment (that will hopefully be friendly) to clean up the language a bit.

Did the other Senators apart from Scott have an objection to the tax credit amendment?
I didn't - I actually originally misread Cris' post and didn't realize he was seeking to remove it. I'd support adding it back in.

Five days of no debate.  I second Blair's motion.

I'm not quite sure how Kingpoleon's proposal would be laid out, so I suggest we vote on the bill as is and then the House can deliberate.
Fair enough. I was waiting to see if there would be discussion on that proposal but time slipped away.

We are now at a final vote. Senators, please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

Aye

I will be following the House discussion on Kingpoleon's proposal.
