Enoch Powell, racial/immigration politics aside (though we cannot do so; it's the political equivalent of trying to divide zero) has a string of notable 'FF' achievements; advocating for slum clearance and beginning to take apart to old Victorian institutions that effectively imprisoned the disabled and mentally ill. He was an early advocate for people with mental health issues. It didn't mean he particularly liked the people he advocated for mind you...

Trump doesn't really have anything on Powell.

Not a fan of either... Powell, despite being horribly racist/xenophobic (I'd have voted Liberal against him), had some good ideas (especially on the economy and his stand against a European super state, and he was a Unionist in Northern Ireland as well).
