I'm genuinely surprised that we haven't had any Muslim federal judges before this point.

Muslims are one of the most politically impotent and discriminated against groups of the US population. They punch well below their numbers, existing on the fringes of the sociey. This is why it is so revolting when some idiots go out yelling "the sky is falling, sharia!!!" This is just a reminder of how the facts stand.
