Okay this is old repeated news. Donald Trump is doing badly among Hispanic voters. Well if you examine it, they are some small Hispanic voters would actually vote for him. The reasons are because he refuses to denounced a hate group on TV at first, he called Mexican immigrants "rapists and drug dealers", he attacked an Indiana-born federal judge who is of Mexican descent, and repeatedly champions a wall between Mexico and the US as a cornerstone issue of his campaign. There's also many other stuff he did that is demeaning to Hispanics but I could go all day.

This begs the question, what kind of Hispanics would ever vote for him? Who are those 19% polled that are planning on voting for him?!

Texan Hispanics seem to be pretty conservative. Older Cuban Americans will also support Trump.

The same kind that usually vote Republican. Typically those who don't have a very high opinion of illegal immigrants, those who are especially religious, or some of whom are wealthy.

Hispanic Republicans, Hispanics who hate Hillary Clinton, Hispanics who think he'll be tough on immigration, etc. There's many possibilities. A good chunk of them live in Texas, right?

Some of them might also live in Arizona.

Worse than Romney and McCain for sure. But he's polling better with Texan Hispanics than California or New Mexico Hispanics.

A lot of Hispanics with long-standing family ties to the US (think Tejanos who preceded the Alamo, as an example) are fairly conservative. Many are Republican, and some of the RGV Latinos are more Democratic than they are liberal

Hispanic is a fluid term no? Some people who identify as Hispanics in the polls might not be part of the Hispanic community that Trump is targeting (or at least not think of themselves that way).

Hispanics who consider themselves Americans rather than something else. I would guess his judge Curiel comments hurt him with this group though.

American-born conservative Hispanics. There's an uptick in support for Trump among native born Hispanics when compared to Hispanic immigrants, although Clinton still leads both groups rather comfortably.

Hispanics who fear that there will be a taco truck on every corner, if Hillary wins.
In other words, the Deplorables segment of the Hispanic community.

Edited to add: It looks like ag beat-me to the punchline.
