The only deplorable people are those that instigate by protesting at rallies. Nobody wants them there, and they are doing no good and deserve to be brutally attacked. This man was fighting the good fight.

Ok now back in your basket

He's obviously trolling. I mean, come on, he literally defended pedophelia one time in order to defend Trump.

I did in the pre-Trump age too. All deserve to be loved regardless of their preconceived afflictions. This country will be a haven of tolerance and understanding and a beacon of support for those who need it.

A) You are disgusting.
B) No one should be shocked that you are a trump supporter.
C) You probably would be included in "the basket."

Your brown shirt and jack boots are on order.

Is Seriously defending pedophilia too? Since when are Trump supporters such creeps?
No, I am defending the right to not be a Hillary! supporter here without being subject to a personal attack. The fascism on display by the left tonight is disturbing.

And I bet not a single red avatar cared when the Bernbots and other left-wing nut jobs were blocking streets on the way to Trump rallies.
Will you stop twisting our words? We (well, most of us) are not demanding that you "repent" and embrace Clinton. If you don't like her, then sure, don't vote for her. We are simply pointing out what kinds of views Trump espouses, and the inconsistencies in how his supporters defend him. That is all.

And of course Serioulsy and FuzzyBear will tell you these individuals who punched this 69-year woman are not "Deplorables."
Instead, they are "hard working Americans" and nothing else.

It appears the 5 initial arrests (or at least 4 of them) were the anti-Trump protestors themselves? Deplorable! And nice spin.

I've not been to a Trump rally, and won't go because of such things happening there.

But why, pray tell, would you protest Donald Trump at a Trump rally?  Isn't the place to do this in the street, with a proper parade permit?

These people went to Trump's rally to deliberately disrupt it and start trouble.  And they got what they wanted; it was their GOAL to push someone to the point of doing what the Trump fan in the video did.  They COUNTED on it.  The guy didn't have the right to do what he did, and if he wasn't arrested, he could well be, but these disruptive protesters were interrupting and disrupting an event this guy (and thousands of others) came to see, and had a right to see.

People don't have the right to disrupt a Trump rally (or a Clinton rally, for that matter) any more than they have the right to disrupt a wedding, a church service, a bar mitzvah, or a business meeting of your local Elks Club.  They have the right to speak, to protest lawfully, to do it in a public area in eyesight and earshot of the opposition candidate's supporters, but disrupting an event is conduct.  When will folks get THAT?

Unsure if the others who were arrested were anti-trump protesters or trump supporters, but it seems that some of the charges for them were due to typical protesting-related incidents and not assaulting people.
BIG DIFFERENCE.

I see charges like "simple affray" and "2nd degree trespassing."
Hardly a crime that would make them "Deplorable" (regardless of which side they were on).

The two additional arrest warrants out for assault are for the two trump supporters. One who punched the protesters inside the Arena (as indicated by the OP) and the other for this new assault on the 69-year old woman. These are your true Deplorables !

Good try though on attempting to "spin" the story.

Well, the guy should be arrested.  He was not in danger of life and limb, and the protesters were, more or less, leaving under the escort of security.  He committed a battery.  You go to jail for that.

But it's clear to me that these protesters were there disrupting a rally that other people went to because they wished to listen to the speakers and participate in the event, if only by listening.

Do I have a right to attend a Clinton rally wearing a shirt calling Hillary a Douchebag and starting a "Massengill" cheer?  Do I have that free speech?  (I wouldn't do such a thing, but it's a hypothetical example of being a jerk.)  If not, why not?  Is it because my "speech" became CONDUCT because of the manner of my speech and its location?  Is such behavior, or the behavior of the protesters in Asheville, not far removed from yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theater?  These protesters' GOAL is to bait and goad some of the shaky Trump supporters (and they're out there, I grant you) into violence.  That's not Trump's fault; that's the fault of protesters.  If you don't like Trump, don't go to his rallies.  Picket and protest somewhere else.  But leave the folks who go there alone to experience their event.  Post on Atlas.  Get a red avatar.

Simple affray is synonymous with assault and that is a confirmed protestor. The one complained about in the OP had a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Have you ever been to a political rally? Because I don't know that I've ever been to one that didn't have some kind of protestor or heckler pop up at some point. It just comes with the territory of being a public figure. And the correct way to handle it is to have the disruptive individual politely escorted from the premises. Every politician in America knows how to handle this as a routine matter at their rallies. Now there's only one candidate in modern American politics whose supporters routinely respond to protestors at their rallies with violence. Why do you suppose that is?

The guy who hit the 3 protesters inside the Arena (as per the OP) was Thomas Vellanti Jr.
He "assaulted" the protesters who didn't do anything (physically) to the perpetrator/Deplorable. They were already being escorted out and the scum-bag trump-Deplorable felt a need to hit them as they were just trying to walk-out.  Re-watch the video if you must.

How about when the BLM/left-wing deplorables in Minneapolis assaulted, spit on, and stole cell phones from peaceful Trump supporters at a private fundraiser last month?

http://www.twincities.com/2016/08/20/trump-supporter-reports-cellphone-robbery-after-minneapolis-event/

Atlas only cares when that happens to Clinton supporters.

Remind me again which candidate has repeatedly cheered on and rabidly encouraged violence by his supporters and even offered to pay the legal bills of those invoved? or which one excused the criminaly charged hate crime assault of.a homeless immigrant where the assailants said theey were inspired by him saying: "well, my supporters are awfully passionate".

Hint: it's only one of them.

Do you know why protesting at an opposing candidates rally is acceptable, FB? BECAUSE THIS IS F@#CKING AMERICA!!!

Do you know why it's completely abhorant to support ANY political candidate who actively and explicitly incites physical violence against his opponents? SAME F#$KING REASON!!
