In 30 years you're going to visit your kids on Saturn's moon Titan, the trip is going to take 2 years.  For some reason you can only bring the entire catalog of two bands and they are all out of Nickleback and Kanye so you'll have to settle picking two of these four.  You brining Ringo? or Moon?  Paige or Richards?  Strawberry Fields or Stairway to Heaven?  5:15 or Brown Sugar?

I'm one of the (rare? I have no idea) people who likes both the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, but the latter are one of my favorite bands while the former are frankly overrated.

The Stones and Zep, the Beatles are over rated and the Who aren't as awesome as The Stones.

The Beatles would give me a wide stylistic variety from Please, Please Me to Let it Be, and The Who for full length works like Tommy along with albums with classic singles like on Who's Next.

Beatles have consistent quality.
The Stones have a good variety and a lot of quality songs but they're on a level below the Beatles.
Who is just kind of meh.
Led Zeppelin outside of Led Zep IV is mostly garbage.  Robert Plant is terrible on that first album.

Led Zeppelin > Stones > the Who > Beatles

We have a winner! I know the Beatles are responsible for all the rock that came after them and were revolutionary for their time but they didn't age well at all and so much of the music is simplistic pop/not really rock.

To be clear, I have to vote Led Zep because I've been a Tolkien super-fan since I was seven years old. Otherwise, I'd vote the Beatles and the Who, even though I like to rag on the Beatles and get annoyed by people treating them like they're solid gold.

The poll is missing the Kinks.

I like them all, but I'd go with Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, in that order.

When I was younger (I was born in 1987 and not even 10), one of my favourite songs was Kashmir. I'm still a big fan, but there are other songs of theirs I like more now. As for the Stones, I think their best is Gimme Shelter.
