My father was a narcissistic, emotionally abusive piece of s**t. When I get pissed off, I see a lot of him in myself. I may or may not have said on here before that I think you should have to apply for a license before you can get pregnant/have a child, the same way you have to apply and be screened to adopt a child.

I'll also be the first to admit that I wouldn't qualify for said license.

Having children was one of my best decisions. There are worlds I would not have experienced without them. Seeing them grown now only reinforces that original choice.

I'm undecided. I don't really want kids that badly, but I'm somewhat open to it. My wife really wants them. I just really don't like kids that much and had a pretty bad second half of my childhood (through no fault of my parents; I went to a crappy school where I got treated like garbage).

I'll be 27 next week, by the way, so I still have plenty of time.
