It doesn't take much to make a proud man look small.

Believe it or not, I've met her before. She was the pastor once upon a time at the church my mom used to go to.

I don't think it made Trump look small. I think the pastor was very kind in the way she went about what she said, and Trump was kind enough to do what she asked. It's a side of Trump I don't see very often, but it's one that he needs to show more of.

A 70 year-old man running for President of the United States had to be told by another adult that his politicking was inappropriate not only in the context of his invitation to the church, but IN a church of all places.  He was reduced to his true powerless self, unable to shout back and unable to throw the pastor out.  He should have known better, but sometimes adults have to correct and embarrass children in public.

Now if I'm correct there's been some men in uniform who have embarrassed Hillary Clinton but Democrats don't seem to focus on that.

I don't see it that way. I'm just glad Trump obliged her. Sometimes it takes a big man to admit he's wrong and then act accordingly.

As for his political speech, well, he is running for President. It's hard not to be political anywhere you go.

If she was a white pastor, acting like this towards Obama, you'd call her a racist.
If she was a male pastor, acting like this towards Clinton, you'd call her a sexist.

Now, when a black relatively young female pastor is acting like this towards old poor Mr. Trump, you call Trump a racist sexist.

Am I right?

Probably not the best idea for Trump, considering his issues earlier in the year attacking individual citizens (particularly non-white ones), but I doubt this gets a ton of coverage. A wash.

And insinuates mental issues/drug abuse with "something wrong" with her.

What a POS. I gave him (backhanded) kudos for changing his tone after the Pastor asked him not to speak about politics, and then he turns around and speaks bad about her, and lies.

Sigh. <Shaking my head....>

Perhaps it's had an effect in the polls this week?

These polls happened after he hadn't been doing this in a while. Now he's back at it. Hee.

No polls have been taken since the incident?  I wonder if it will decide the election?
