Obama won/Clinton lost: Virginia, Indiana, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina

From that above total, Indiana and Montana are anomalies.  On the Democratic side, looks like Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia are lost forever.  For the Republicans, perhaps Virginia--but Colorado, Florida, and North Carolina will be more difficult to hold.

No, NC and FL are easier for Trump than VA.

Clinton's victories added together (any state he won either time -- the map shifted more between '92 and '96 than people remember) compared to Obama '08:

Blue: All Republican
Red: All Democratic
Gray: Yes Clinton/No Obama
Green: No Clinton/Yes Obama

Here's a handy-dandy guide.

Here's a map showing the number of times they went for each candidate.

Red = Always Democratic
Blue = Always Republican
Pink = Obama twice, Clinton once
Dark Green = Obama twice, Clinton never
Light Green = Obama once, Clinton never
Light Blue = Clinton twice, Obama never
Yellow = Clinton once, Obama never
