This is the results of the 1934 referendum which made Nebraska the only US state with a nonpartisan unicameral legislature.

Somewhat of an east-west divide but not very strong considering the amendment passed in the west as well, with very strong results in some counties. The highest percentage for "Yes" was in from Red Willow - 74.42%, while the lowest was in Keya Paha - 43.98%.

Horrible vote. Bicameralism for the win!

Bicameralism makes no sense for a non-federal entity, like all fifty US states. Especially after the Supreme Court ruled districts with unequal population (in many states each county had one State Senator) unconstitutional.

Bicameralism is meh, but a modern legislature probably should have political parties.

Nebraska's legislature does have parties, but they're unofficial.
