I support this. I don't see why we need to draft people into the military, when we're not at all out war. Only people who want to join the military should join.

Thank you for taking the time for debating and voting on this, and I humbly ask congress to pass this. Military service that isn't voluntary is one of the worst things about this nation, and is a menace to the freedom we supposedly protect.

Reminds me of when I used to go round and round with first Libertas and then Napoleon on this issue in 2010 and then 2011. Good Times.

That is a good point, but even that didn't stop the gov't from pushing the overburdened all volunteer force to the breaking point to continue Iraq for so long.
