Predict the margins if you'd like.

She gets under his skin and then he lashes out.

She wins!

Trump supporters online are 2008 and 2012 Paul supporters. These online flash polls may very well go to Trump, but in reality with the general population maybe a landslide for clinton.

Kind of shocked of how many are confident of a Trump win.

All he has to do is not lash out, provide a decent zinger or two, and he'll be declared the winner. Doesn't matter how well Hillary does on policy, debates are mostly about soundbites.

I expect all the online polls will give it to Trump (ie Paul/Sanders/Trump), but the actual polls will give it to Clinton, except in the case of a total f**k up.

I actually don't think that will happen.

If we're talking about online polls on sites like Slate, Drudge, etc., then Trump by a landslide.

If we're talking about scientific flash polls, I imagine it'll be pretty close.  Probably split across partisan lines, with Indies edging to Clinton by a bit.

Yeah, I was referring more to the scientific flash polls from CNN, NBC, etc. The online ones are basically meaningless.

In a Reality TV world:

Trump win = he has an effective soundbite, highlighting one or more of her perceived weaknesses

Clinton win = she provokes him to lash out and say something derogatory, incorrect or plain stupid

As for vision, strategic plans, policies, plans, etc - it's not entertainment, so who cares....

In that case, Hillary, though the online ones will say that Trump won even if especially if he calls her a b*tch or a c*nt.

I think he also needs to not provide any awful soundbites of his own.

Ideally, the debate will spawn a meme along the lines of:

Donald Trump is so stupid, he thinks successful businessmen are supposed to go bankrupt.

Or:

Donald Trump so stupid, he thinks Spain is in South America.

I remember the flash polls said Romney won the second debate in a landslide (That's where Barry baited Willard into his trap and brutally owned him).

I'm keeping my avatar blue because I think a blue square looks cooler than a red square. You of all people should understand that, Heisenberg.

The only poll that matters to me generally is the CNN post-debate poll which tends to nail the general shift...

Do we remember the sample issues in the 2012 debate polls? Hmmm?

Nah, Obama was seen as the winner of the second debate in the polling.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/16/breaking-cnn-poll-obama-edges-romney-in-debate/comment-page-19/

Romney was seen as the winner of the first one by a ridiculously huge margin though.
