Speaking of which, has anyone considered how the whole Safe Space thing at colleges & universities could become a huge slippery slope? I mean what if Conservative Christian students want a safe space where they won't be triggered by gays? What if White students want a safe space?
The answer to that seems to revolve around the idea that safe spaces are meant to combat systemic inequalities and the difficulties associated with them, and that those groups are not systemically or historically marginalized, so they don't need space.
I think that argument has some serious problems, but it's what they say.
