For some reason, I thought he was going to spend more.

Bad news for the GOP. Obama is a political juggernaut. Remember when he campagined in Philadelphia last week? Immediately after that a poll dropped showing Hilldawg with an 8 point lead. That was all Barry O. baby

Yep, I would. I'd prefer zero days so he can actually do his job as President and not campaign but having around 8 events isn't bad.

My guess is it will crank up towards the end and you'll probably see days with multiple events in multiple states on the same day.

He kind of has other responsibilities, so this is probably all he has time for. Any campaigning he does at all is bound to help her, though.

Why would you say "only" ?
That's not bad at all, especially if he averages "2" days per week.
And I agree with another comment above, that it will probably increase in the last 2 or 3 weeks before election day.

That is a lot for a sitting potus. Far more than Bush Jr, B Clinton, Reagan, LBJ, Eisenhower, Truman.

To be fair, Obama is the first president in generations that is both wanted, willing and well enough to campaign for their successor. I think previous presidents would have done the same, but one issue or another prevented it.

Obama should do Joe a solid, step down right now so he can be President, and then proceed to campaign 7 days per week!

Which states Obama be the best surrogate?

I am guessing North Carolina and Florida.

Virginia is a shoo-in for Hillary.

Georgia is a tier 2.

Did Bill Clinton do this for Al Gore in 2000?

Did George W. Bush do this for John McCain in 2008?

You honestly think that? How would anyone ever run for reelection?

Good!   Why shouldn't he?   It's his duty to protect the country from all enemies, foreign and domestic.   Trump would be domestic.
