I think that Webb would do better in Ohio than many people here suggest because he would do better than most Democrats in the Appalachian part of the state.

No way Webb wins this. Minority and youth turnout would fall even more than they did IRL, and Bush would be able to perform as well as Romney with college educated whites.

I think JEB! would of used his moderate stance on immigration and the fact that he has a latina wife to help him with the hispanic vote.




I also think there could be an alternate scenario where this happens



322 - Jim Webb      216 - JEB!

I think this would play out if Webb was able to win back coal country. Webb after all is more or less a conservative democrat though I am not 100% that he would be conservative enough to flip Kentucky, Tennessee, or West Virginia.
