Yes. It's sad. Before 2014, he was seen as the most electable Republican to be president in 2016. Blue state governor. Centrist-conservative views. No-nonsense approach to governing. Someone who was tough on "special interest groups". All of that is gone now, most likely. If Trump loses in 2016, I don't see how Christie wins the 2020 Republican nomination, unless if he tries to change the subject. However, he may be in jail by 2020. It's possible, both Christie and Sen. Bob Menendez, who is corrupt as well, could be in jail by 2020. New Jersey is just a corrupt Northeastern state.
