You mean like affirmative action, bias in federal contracts, favoritism in hiing, promotions, university acceptence, grad school acceptance? Really folks it's amazing some people and groups actually believe the Constitution is still the law of the land. It's been dead for years, this new Jewish hate crime/hate speech law is simply the deathblow to it's final remnants.

The article was referring to the law passed in Canada that made it a crime to question the holocaust. The law was written and introducded by the ADL. There are similar laws in various countries in Western Europe. If the holocaust did happen, then why are Jews trying to outlaw the questing or attemps to re-investigate it? What are they trying to hide?

wow.  this is a fascist bit of legislation I agree.  I've said time and again that hate crimes legislation is unconstitutional and wasteful and this one is particularly scary.  If it's real.  It seems a bit Onion-esque to me, though.

Also, I'm not sure you can call the ADL a jewish supremacist organization.  As far as I know, they're not the jewish analogy of the feminist.  I think that the ADL wants for jews pretty much the same as the Human Rights League wants for homosexuals.  Just equal treatment.  (which is certainly not what this legislation calls for, which is why I have a hard time believing it's not an exaggeration by the group you got it from, or just a joke even.)  You gotta look at the history of the ADL.  Theirs is one of fighting bigotry.  Now, sure you can argue they're supporters of Israel, and maybe you take more the palestinian side of that fight.  fair enough, the Israel/Palestine fight in most english-speaking countries, splits down Right/Left lines, respectively, to a large degree anyway.  But beyond that, the larger picture of the ADL is an organization that came about in response to discrimination against jews.  (remember, for the first 300 years of its existence, harvard didn't admit catholics or jews, and it wasn't alone in this regard).  And the ADL has been around a long time.  Much longer than the state of Israel has even existed.  And long before the third reich existed.  Anyway, I agree with you that hate crimes legislation is tantamount to some of Jefferson's worst nightmare.  But I think you'd have a hard time making the case that the ADL is a league of Jewish-Supremacists.
