Like I said in BRTD's "Why isn't dead0 a Trumpateer?" thread, why would I like a rich asshole from the east coast who loves himself WAY too much?  Hasn't he always been a joke?  The first I knew of him would have been SNL in the 80s, they were not kind, nor should they have been.  He is clown shoes.

No, I’ve always seen him as clown and faker who yells dumb political comments.

I was annoyed when my mother gave me a book for Xmas that he wrote 30 years ago or something. I never read it. I didn't care how he made his money.

Wow, that's one of the worst gifts I've heard of.

If anyone offers me a "gift" like that, I'll know they actually hate me.

I actually kinda liked the Apprentice (I'm a fan of shows like that, Bar Rescue, Shark Tank, etc) but now I loathe the man with the fury of a thousand detonating suns

I always thought him a buffoon, and he never appealed to me. When it comes to slapstick, Laurel and Hardy was far more my style than The Three Stooges, and his act was always far more the latter than the former.  I am astounded that it has proven to be less an act than a public display of his personality.

There's just something about him I connect with.

Well that's very good, but I'm not about to be writing in Holden Caulfield, if you catch my drift.
