That's unlikely. Certainly not something his people would advise him to do. They know it will turn off those crucial suburban women if he looks like he is doing personal attacks. That being there is a good chance he will use words like 'crooked' 'corrupt' or 'weak' when describing various issues with Clinton's plans and policies.  So he will call her 'crooked' just not as a nickname.

He just said that he is going to be nice to Hillary and treat her with respect, as long as she treats him with respect. I would think that if he wants to impress the general election voters that he would hold himself to this standard.

Of course, who knows what he'll really do. And who knows if Hillary will be aggressive in calling his "policies" and proposals unrealistic and picking on negative things that Trump has said over the course of the campaign. In which case Trump will feel the need to defend himself with his particular style of trash talk, which might spawn "Crooked Hillary" to be uttered from his precious lips.

If he's smart, he won't. It's not going to appeal to the general election swing voter, and Hillary is bound to be prepared with a well focus group tested retort if he tries. "There you go again" might work well, except Hillary doesn't have the Reaganesque charm needed to pull it off.

It's not hypocrisy. There is a difference between gun control and gun prohibition, which is pretty much what you're saying. It seems like no matter how many times Democrats say they just want reasonable restrictions, all you guys hear is "REPEAL 2ND AMENDMENT?"

As for Trump/Clinton being friends? Do you even know what the idea of friendship means?

Do you think donating money means people are friends?
Do you think "hanging out" mingling at various events and clubs a handful of times makes people friends?

I'm willing to bet that somewhere in you, from a perspective outside of politics, you'd see the same situation and think it is hardly friendship, but in the context of a partisan debate, your inner hack takes over and you immediately lower the burden of proof for your argument so you can haphazardly make a point.
