I have a feeling this debate will be a draw.

trump.

It won't even matter if Clinton has all the substance. It's Al Gore vs George Bush all over again in that regard.

Expectations for Trump are low, so he will be the perceived winner.

Hard to say.  If it turns on personality or showmanship, probably Trump wins.  If they actually debate policy, then probably Clinton wins.

Holt is a long-time registered Republican, and he's thoughtful, so I suspect he'll hold them both to specific policy.  If that's the case, then it is likely Clinton will look better informed.

keeping my expectations low - I think Trump gets a pass from the media and gets a W on his belt for the first debate.

Since when have the debates been about policy? 1960? 1976? Certainly not since the CPD was created.

The vile, fascist pig. Because our crap population only cares about charisma, not substance.

I am optimistic enough to believe Clinton will win big and turn the whole tide of the election.

If she doesn't, it's entirely the media's fault. It is clear as day which candidate is more competent on the issues.

I picked draw. People know these candidates by now, there's no introduction or anything. Trump leaning people will like his frank, confrontational style, Hillary people will appreciate her more knowledgeable and cool demeanor.

Of course, there's always the possibility of some "event" that gives it to one of the participants, but I can't predict that. This will be one of the most watched television events of all time, I'm just gonna have to watch and find out like everyone else.

Clinton will definitely do better on substance, but thanks to the expectations game, I think it'll be considered a draw.

That's basically the case. The media has treated him softly enough that the damage to Clinton is already done--I've basically given up on this election, the people, and the country at this point.

Draw.  Trump will get a few insults in there, Hillary will get some zingers, both supporters will be ecstatic at their team.

It's hard to say.
Something tells me that trump will come-off knowing little about the issues, and probably talk in extreme generalities.
Or the orange-haired clown will deflect onto talking about something completely different from the current topic when he gets "stuck"/flustered.
So, I say Hillary will more than likely be considered the winner.

A draw, because debates are nearly always a draw in the end. Trump will get points for not saying the F-word, Clinton will get points for looking presidential.

No one usually comes out on top in debates.  I can only think of the first debates with Kerry and Romney where they came out on top for a couple weeks.

On substance, Hillary. No contest. All in all, it could be Trump since it is not expected much from him. But how knows? Maybe he’s doing a major gaffe.
