I would be open to changing the criteria for future elections, but given that the goalposts were set at 15% this time around, I don't believe any candidates other than Clinton or Trump should be featured.

I would support a motion to lower the threshold to 10%, and I would be open to changing it so that any candidate who is on the ballot in all 50 states would be allowed.

Perhaps there could be a staggered system where third-party candidates would have a less difficult threshold for getting into the first debates, but have to demonstrate momentum/competitiveness to be featured in the latter debates? For example, ballot access in all 50 states would be sufficient for Debate #1, but then Debate #2 would have a 15% threshold and perhaps something even more difficult for Debate #3.
