Real quote from Omarosa:

"Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It's everyone who's ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe."

Apparently it's in response particularly to Birtherism:

I've said it many times already, but the reality of his supporters (and his lack of any actual positions, and thus mirroring theirs) is the coming to power of white power nationalist fascists. They will threaten with violence and jail every minority, every dissenter, and press to ethnically cleanse the US. Many historians will make their career 100 years from now writing on the bloody end of the United States if these skinheads win.

Trump and most of his supporters appear to be fascist. How could any freedom loving American vote for this man?

It'd be bad, don't get me wrong.  Severe economic depression, an end to America's place on the world stage, mass deportations, likely some blackshirt action as well.  It would be a terrible four years, certainly our worst since the Civil War (or, if we're lucky, Hoover). But barring a war, the amount of actual lasting damage he can do to the Republic is limited.  Even if he gets a couple Supreme Court picks, the Court isn't going to kowtow to him and would stop the most unconstitutional actions. And I doubt he gets Congress to play along if he tries to just ignore the Supreme Court altogether à la Jackson.

Of course, note the phrase, "barring a war"; if he gets us in a shooting war because he gets pissy, or lashes out, or wants to distract himself from domestic concerns, all bets are off.

She's Trump's director of African-American outreach.  That's a position within his campaign; whether it is technically as an "advisor" or not is pretty close to quibbling.

For Trump supporters, this isn't a drawback, but a key motivation for them supporting him. The real motivation behind the "Make America Great Again" rhetoric is the aspiration of "correcting" the perceived imbalances in interpersonal relationships today that has arisen as a result of increasing equality between genders, races, sexualities, and natives/immigrants. It's about a White, Patriarchal society reasserting its privilege over historically marginalized groups and those seeking this "correction" *want* Trump to be an authoritarian for their side. They hope that if Trump can achieve this and normalize it on a national scale, they can achieve it on a personal one.

Well, not that he listens more to those officially designated as "advisors". She is as much of an advisor as he is capable of having.

I'll keep attacking this wannabe dictator if he gets elected. We all must stand up to him if this country is foolish enough to elect him.

Democrats must be ready to fight and fillerbuster.

They are avenging a lifelong and personal Versailles against jews, muslims, feminists, blacks, homosexuals, Mexicans, liberals, atheists, and the disabled.

Nuts.

All genuine Republicans (the non-hacks) need to settle on Hillary.  She is really the only viable option at this point.  Johnson has zero chance, and a vote for his is essentially a vote for Trump.  I don't usually buy into that way of thinking (I voted Johnson in 2012), but your choice is between fascism or more of the same.  You may not like the way things are right now; you'll hate it even more under President Trump.

I'm pretty sure Trump only wants to be President because, well, he wants to be President. So, having achieved this improbable feat, I'm sure he would find it quite easy to slip into the role of figurehead for a Republican Congress, with a few concessions here and there on style, and possibly on his signature issues of trade and immigration. This is essentially what was proposed in his attempted rapprochement with Kasich in order to get the latter to join the ticket. If he does go off the wall, his dearth of committed support amongst the Republican Congressional Caucus will be enough to check any unwise decisions.

Actually, there's no quibbling about it. She is by definition.

What does it say when your primary argument for supporting a candidate for president is "he really won't try to do, or will be stopped from doing, everything he's promised to do"?

Don't delude yourself. If Trump wins, he's POTUS. Not Paul Ryan.

Mexico had an example of this. His name was Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana. He would become president, then resign in favor of his vice-president, then come back, and on, and on, and on. Eventually, he lost half of Mexico to the US.
