Yes, there is a witch hunt, as there is with practically every one of the few conservative posters on this forum.  Threads are routinely made to ban outspoken conservatives, but not outspoken liberals.  Outspoken conservatives are muted or banned for just posting conservative views.

I for one am sick of it, and post less and less here as a result.

If you were paying any attention, you'd realize this has nothing to do with his political affiliations, and, rather, everything to do with his complete bullsh**t backstory, which indicated he may be a sock.

SATW asked him about a few of the conventions in the thread and he answered quite accurately.

Seriously though, can somebody explain what happened?

Santander listed a bunch of conferences and conventions that he attended in a thread about that sort of thing. Al said that Santander was lying based only on the evidence of "That doesn't make sense", and called him Walter Mitty. Santander didn't get the reference which some how proves that Al was right.

It is always safe to assume that I am right as I always am.

But the issue wasn't the claimed conference attendance list per se, but rather his whole claimed background (Asian born in Scotland living in Kentucky and thoroughly assimilated into Southern culture in all respects - including Southern Church culture - and loudly supporting Trump? This seems like the ad hoc list of an internet faker rather than a real person and there are other jarring details as well). I'm not trying to drive him away, but it would be better if he fessed up.

I've talked with Santander on Mibbit quite a bit, and the story really isn't all that inconsistent.
