Toomey - 41
McGinty - 40

This is a departure for McGinty, who had a 5 point lead in the poll last week.

Yea, there is no reason for this race to have shifted to Toomey by 6 points in a week.

Throw it in the garbage.

Pollsters need to stop being so shy about pushing undecideds. The election isn't that far away. I like the result, but still: JUNK POLL!!!!!

Yeah, this is garbage. I don't doubt that this race is close, and that Toomey might still win, but I doubt we'd see that large of a swing in such a short amount of time (short of a major event.)

I would love for Toomey to be ahead, but when the election is this close, they really need to push undecideds way more. So into the trash it goes.

the fact that Toomey still can't overperform Trump by any real margin is pretty embarrassing considering he's been running for re-election since 2011. McGinty was not considered a good recruit at first.

Having a speech at the DNC probably helped. After that was when the polls started changing - Before the DNC Toomey led in essentially every poll. If it was just her being pulled upward by the "convention bounce" and "khan bounce", she would be 3-6 points behind all over again by now since both bounces have worn off. But instead she's remained very competitive and may even be a slight favorite to win.

Gonna call this an outlier until we see confirmation from other polls.
