As we have seen Hillary Clinton was severely hurt by the trust issue - She was looked as dishonest & a lier. How much of it was due to her repeatedly lying about the Email Server?

Hillary - "My Email Sever was allowed by the State Department"
Truth - State Department report said it was not allowed, she was warned not to do such things

Hillary - "Previous SoS did it"
Truth - No1 else had their own server dealing with classified information.

Hillary - "None of my emails were classified when they were send - They were retroactively marked classified"
Truth - More than 100 of her emails were classified when they were send

She did lie repeatedly & everytime Comey or a State Department report came it hurt her bad.

Do you think her own handling & constant lying hurt her honesty/trustworthy numbers?

no, i think her being such a bad liar and not being able to convincingly shrug it off hurt her numbers.

No, she lost because of the 'they're both bad!' meme that idiots kept trottting out.

It probably didn't help.

It's strange, too.  Emails from a private server?  Who cares?  She could have said, "Oh, yeah, I was using my personal account because of the old mobile phone technology that has only one account.  Probably I should have been more careful." and be done with it.  But her instinct is to go defensive, which leads to exaggerations and incomplete histories.

Her husband was strange like that as well.  "I did not have sex with that woman as I understood the term to be defined."  What the hell is that?  He could have said, "It's none of your damned business whether I did her.  Don't you have a country to run, anyway?  Why are you asking me about my sex life?  Get bent."  Sure, he'd have been charged with contempt and paid a fine, but that would have been the end of it.  No obstruction.  No perjury.  No impeachment.

It would have been nothing without the letters FBI

Most people see those three letters and think holy , this is bad.

Why Obama appointed a Republican hack to head up the agency we'll never know.

No, the GOP cottage mill would've convinced the media and populace of something else she was lying.

She could've stated 2+2 =4, the opposition would've said no, it's 5....take a gander who would've been believed.

That's pretty much what happened.

Clinton also lies like someone who knows they're lying. She's a horrible liar.

Trump, on the other hand, lies like he's telling the truth. He's a perfect example of the George Costanza rule - "It's not a lie if you believe it" - and Trump lies like he believes every word of it. For once, Trump is right - he's TERRIFIC at it. Very tremendous ability. wow!

That's why Clinton's honesty numbers were so poor despite by just about every measure being the more honest candidate by about 100 miles.

Yes. Her lying was the single most important thing that hurt her.

This maybe true - Trump is way more convincing!
