I've updated the map with Bibb/Muscogee (Macon/Columbus) as well as 9 other Black Belt counties.

^^^ Added 8 more counties in the Black Belt.

As it turns out, I'm three-quarters done with this GIF based on the number of precincts in Georgia (which is the determining factor for time spent completing this thing). Good to know!

I've added the southwestern corner of the state. The end is in sight: only about 500 more precincts to go!

Much of South Georgia is now added. Excluding the one frame for Cobb & three frames for Chatham, there are only about 80 precincts left to complete.

An update: I'm working on the 2016 frame as we speak and should have it ready within the next couple of days.

Thanks! It seems that strengthening of Democratic positions in Atlanta's metropolis goes parallel with weakening of positions in rural Georgia (South Georgia and so on). Am i correct?

Yes, by and large, although it's not a perfect 1:1 phenomenon in each cycle.

Gotta be fairly horrifying for the GA GOP, but apparently not enough to adapt...

Great work, as always!
