Clinton won, contrary to my suicidal expectations.

The full repudiation of everything I stand for has been pushed just a bit further away.

Trump won it, kept hammering the message about Clinton has been there for a long time and hasn't fixed things, and got her to talk up NAFTA which won't go over well in the places she needs to take from Trump. Trump flubbed some answers, but he was overall decently effective against most of her attacks. People were reminded that he is offensive but that's baked into it already. I didn't see any focused sustained message from Clinton. Her split screen reactions to what Trump said didn't come off well. She had a few good zingers, but nothing memorable.
The polls say otherwise.

That article is from 2012, and isn't about the debates?

Donald trump looked mentally challenged in the debate. Only someone without any respect for the oval office or this country would cast a ballot for Trump.

So, your logic is
CNN's rigged(DEM 41 - Rep 25 - Ind 33) samples '521' voters
is more valueable than Floridan 160k new samples(voters) which is Republican's margins: +24K added?

CNN polls weren't rigged, that's just how the demographics ended up, you can't cherry pick people for polls if you don't know their party affiliation to begin with.

Do you think we are heading toward a 1980-style realignment?

A better comparison would be to see early voting numbers in 2012 at this time and the number StatesPoll just posted.

Not only that, you can take your pick of polls. CNN, Gravis, PPP, and others all showed Clinton won the debate.

As a former Floridian, I have to ask, what's a Floridan?

As I pointed out in another thread, the surest evidence that Clinton won the first debate is how the two campaigns have reacted since then.

That has to be the most pathetic response I've ever seen to someone pointing out a spelling error.

Of course a larger number increasing by more in absolute numbers doesn't say much. The Republican ballots increased by 8.9% the Democratic ones by 7.2%. That's just noise.

So even if StatesPolls "point" wasn't idiocy on a conceptual level it's dumb even within his own framework. Again, it's pretty telling how attitudes to Trump correlate strongly with cognitive ability.

Such polls are pointless here as the forum is crowded by Clinton backers. The person who won was Lester Heil Clinton, who is to get press-secretary position in Clinton's administration.

The best proof that Clinton won isn't even the REAL polls that came out. It's the pathetic excuses Trump and his supporters try to come up with.

"Oh, his microphone was malfunctioning."
"Oh, Lester Holt was biased towards Hillary."
"Oh, Hillary was fed the questions beforehand."
"Oh, Trump is winning these online polls where you can vote over and over"

To borrow a line from Donald himself: Sad!
