Which seems pretty close to what the debate audience was.

Hannity is mentioning that all the online polls had Trump winning and even referenced the 90-10 Drudge poll
Lol. I do find it amusing that the same people who go on and on about voter fraud also apparently like to vote dozens of times in online polls... not that those are on the same order of magnitude, of course...

Haha, now that you mention it, that IS pretty amusing...it fits with the r/sandersforpresident people too.

I just listened to a man running for president who:

-defended why he was sued by the Justice Department for not giving housing to African-Americans in the 1970's by saying "everyone else was doing it"
-defended calling some women pigs and slobs
-defended hoping for a recession in 2006/7, because it was "good for business"
-defended singling out President Obama on his birth certificate
-was confused about nuclear weapons and alliances
-refused to release his tax returns, and was proud about using loopholes that only help the wealthy, calling himself "smart" for not paying any taxes
-defended not paying people for their work
-said we're in a 3rd-world-country because he can't land his private jet at every airport
-called for a law ruled unconstitutional to go nationwide
-said it was a good thing for Russia to hack us
-doesn't think blowing up people from other countries (because they were rude) would start a war
-was supremely obnoxious
...and so much more, while only offering the old "trickle down" policies to help us, and thought repeating certain words made him look tough when he looked panicky.

Trump cannot become President.

Let's just remember how low the bar is set for Donald Trump. He didn't need to beat Hillary at all. All he needed was to not look like a rabbling idiot. Of course, he did look like a complete idiot, but probably only to those who actually know politics, which is not the people who are relevant here.

But as usual, the press narrative will be more important than the actual debate.

I remember this from 2012 from you Smiley

I think the imagery and messaging from these debate was awful for Trump and will be a strong test of his true support base.

I wrote a lot of stuff in 2012, so I'm not sure aht exactly you are referring to? :-)

Anyway, one thing I think benefits Hillary is that it is hard to claim that she is terminally ill or "not able to stand on her own feet" after this debate.

EDIT: Of course, the conspiracy theorists will just claim that the person at the debate was Hillary's body double.

NPR seems to think Hillary won. I just heard the phrase "happy warrior" describing her for the second time.
NPR? No way. They need to be defunded IMHO. Sell commercial space like everyone else. My tax dollars should not go to employing liberals.

Trump ran right to the spin room after the debate. Reporters are saying this is the first time they've seen a candidate do this. They know they lost.
Trump was going into the spin room either way. And he doesn't think he lost. Nor do most of the online polls.

As far as the comment about Fox News on here. You red avatars haven't been watching much of Fox News. There's a pretty large contingent of #NeverTrump on there. The majority of Fox pundits said that Trump did what he had to do.

I'd like to know where you think I've gone, exactly. I've been here all along. I just choose to ignore the partisan Democrat dump this place becomes on nights like this.

Hillary! did nothing off the sort. Ask USA Today, Time, CNBC, Fortune and about every other mainstream media poll out there. Trump did just fine.

- Google searches for Clinton surged after the debate. She was more searched than Trump in all 50 states.
- "registrarse para votar" (register to vote) was the #1 debate-related trending Google search as the debate ended
- Nate Silver expects Clinton to gain 2-4 points based on past results.

Ever since Gravis showed Jim Webb getting 12% right after the first dem debate, I don't trust any of their flash polls.

Of the 95% of those 'Who did not change your mind who are you still for?' the answer was Trump 48%, Clinton 43%. So the sample was +5 for Trump before any other questions were asked.

So we've got three polls:

Leader Margin (C/T) Sponsor          Sample (D/R/I)
Clinton +35 (62/27) CNN/ORC           521    (41/26/33)
Clinton +11 (51/40) PPP                    1,002 (41/32/27)
Clinton +5   (48/43) Breitbart/Gravis 890    (38/33/29)

You gotta remember who's still paying for the poll after all.

Steve Schmidt: Trump made Palin look like Henry Kissinger on foreign policy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yhaujX2hy4

As much as people have ridiculed Palin, and as much as a fool she is, I think that, at least in hindsight, she deserves an ounce of credit for doing her homework and not completely bombing against Joe Biden in 2012.  Trump, on the other hand, did not seem to study for even a moment, and it showed.
