If the initial polling is any indication, Clinton should regain the lead on 538 in Nevada, Florida, and maybe North Carolina. Praise God.

Let's wait a few days before we make any final calls about this debate. I think that Hillary slaughtered Trump, but I'm biased, of course. Initial polls may show Hillary winning the debate, but we're probably not going to see the impact of this debate in the polls (if there is any) until at least the end of the week. Watch Atlas claim that the debate had no effect because polls still show a close race tomorrow. Roll Eyes

Frankly I stopped panicking when I learned how the media is lying about the polls to keep everything a horse race.

Hillary is soundly ahead in reality and she's going to win this thing.

I'm not worried about it any more.

If anything, it made NV swing a couple of more points towards Trump. #amIrite?

Who is this "we" you are referring to?  Why do you and many red avatars assume everyone on this website is backing Hillary Clinton, instead of Trump, Johnson, Stein or someone else, or is undecided or doesn't care, or wasn't panicking in the first place?   This isn't supposed to be an exclusively pro-Clinton website.

Nope, until I see a good 4% lead for Hillary after the third debate and assuming Pence floundered, I'm panicking.

Kaine or Pence could have the best debate performance in US history and it wouldn't move the polls a single point.

Again, of the "swing" states she just needs to win WI, VA, PA and CO. She can lose ME-02, OH, FL, IA and NV and still win with 272. Very hard for her to lose.

Oh for f**k's sake people. Let's wait for an actual horserace poll before proclaiming Hillary's inevitability again.

We need to wait and see.
I think this will help Clinton, but just barely.
She may gain 1 or 2 points nationally.
Possibly 2 or 3 in some key states.
(I hope it's more.)

you triggered bro?

Look, if you're backing the conartist and fraud, so be it but Dave Leip's Election Atlas has always been a Titanium D forum and it'd be a lie to act as if we weren't. This is largely a site for Democratic hacks, particularly in this election. Deal with it!

Well, we can still panic, but if Clinton loses after tonight, we know there was nothing else that we could do to prevent Trump from destroying this country, and we should just sit back and relax.

Honey, we are winning so big league, especially after that gorgeous performance -- trust me, they'll pay, they'll be emotional wrecks again in no time.
