In 1964, Lyndon Johnson picks Gov. Pat Brown (D-CA) as his running mate. Four years later, he becomes the Dem nominee just as Humphrey did. Everything else remains exactly the same. What happens?

207: Pat Brown/Morris Udall - 36.0%
61: Strom Thurmond/Ross Barnett - 16.0%
Others - 3.9%

Arkansas flips the election to Nixon.
