Hard to tell. He might pick up some Trump support but he might also lose some to Clinton, would be my guess.

Normally you'd expect him to lose by not being in the debates but with the major candidates being so disliked, who knows really.

Johnson hasn't stolen a single vote from Hillary. Like Trump, he's gobbling up the votes of  55+% of people in America who will never want to vote for her. If he goes down, it's because of his exclusion from the debates and a greater than usual number of voters staying home.

There is potential for Johnson to benefit from this, by making third party voting easier for some independents, who were fearing a Trump Presidency but were not (and still are not) entirely sold on Clinton. (I explained this in the other thread). 

In the end, it won't greatly benefit Johnson.
