It would be pretty normal if the polls don't move much after the debate.  It wouldn't mean that anyone is doomed.  There is still a month or so until the election - plenty of time for things to change.

They will move, but I only suspect that they will move slightly (towards +Hillary of course).

probably. I expect a Trump rise after the second debate. Hillary needs to put some distance between her and Trump now based on that performance. If people watched that debate and don't like Hillary, they'll never like Hillary. They are looking for reasons to vote against her. She was likable, sharp, affable, pretty much errorless. I expect those already committed to Trump won't switch, but if that performance persuades no undecideds then she's in trouble.

It would be terrible news for Hillary, and would show that she'd need a huge game changer to bring her numbers up (probably a scandal for Trump that is outrageous even by his standards.)
