His constant drug use seems to have caused permanent and severe brain damage, principally manifested in memory loss and abnormal behaviors. Sad to see.

Johnson would have stolen the show for any meltdown talk had he been included in the debate.

Yet another hack thread from the leading Clintonbot on the forum....

Yes, Gary Johnson has consumed marijuana in his past, as have over 55% of American adults.

If Lief's argument is correct, then over 50% of Americans would have permanent brain damage based upon smoking marijuana.

Meanwhile, there is no mention of actually more severe medical issues caused by alcohol consumption, that actually are correlated with higher rates of damage to brain cells, as well as many other effects.

Granted, Gary Johnson did a crap job today on the Town Forum, after his Allepo moment a few weeks back, and a bizarre statement regarding the "sun will collapse in 4 Billion Years so why deal with Global warming now".... or something to that effect....

BUT Lief, you are taking hackery to a new low.....and yes I am with her.

How much time does the sun have left? Half of a billion years?

It's hard to have regrets when your mind doesn't work, but his younger self probably would.

Gary Johnson has smoked a bit more marijuana than the average American who smoked it a few times in high school or college and gave it up as an adult.

Doubt it. He was in a bunch of primary debates, most of which included Austin Petersen and John McAfee, who are both pretty good debaters. 3 of those debates were nationally televised and got a pretty good amount of attention considering that they were LP primary debates. The closest he came to a gaffe in any of them was in the first televised one, when he argued awkwardly against "religious freedom" laws that would override anti-discrimination laws--well, it was a gaffe in the context of an LP primary, anyway.

I think that Johnson's performance in a general election debate would be similar to the primaries. He wouldn't be considered the winner, he'd possibly be considered boring or unremarkable. The opposite of "stealing the show," for better or for worse. One thing is for certain, and that's that he would be given the least speaking time.

Not taking Lief seriously.

But in regards to Johnson's constant gaffes here - maybe it's fair to say that he didn't "forget" because he never knew it to begin with. Perhaps he has always assumed Lincoln/Republicans to be the 3rd party in 1860. Maybe he never knew what Aleppo was.

Point is, if Johnson has a real intention of becoming POTUS, he owes it to the country to actually put in the time to learn all this stuff. He should not only know who the world leaders are, but he should have opinions on them. He should know what Aleppo is, and so on. Same applies to Stein.
