I have said it before, and I will say it again: you could probably be a good troll if you wanted to... Smiley

Hola!

Dean should run for the US Senate, not try to run for president again. Dean would do no better than Kerry did, maybe even worse.

Don't get me wrong, I love Howard Dean. He's just not nationwide, and is from a tiny state that few Americans have ever been in.

Vermont should be a part of Canada.

Senor, take a look at when all but the last three (now four) replies on this thread were posted...
Ben just bumped it up as a joke.

It would be a waste for Dean to run for Senate. The Senior Senator is a high ranking Democrat and the Junior Senator is an Independent that votes with the Democrats 100% of the time. No gain for the party there. Dean should run for Governor again, its controlled by the GOP.

Howard Dean is a big no no! He may be a popular liberal within the Democratic Party but he will not win a Presidential election. The Democrats can't afford another McGovern or Mondale.

The Democrats, if they have any sense, will select a moderate who commands significant bipartisan support - in other words, somebody who is electable and a proven record of executive office.

I want to see a Democrat back in the White House rather than on the periphery. Lets face it, even in the dark days of the 1972 and 1984 elections, the Democrats retained continuous control of the House and for the most part the Senate. The GOP have a clean sweep at the moment. It's not a good position to be in.

Only a centrist can win. Evan Bayh's a dream on paper, if he were to run and be selected. He may be a Senator now, but he was Governor of Indiana for two-terms, and he did a pretty good job.

Howard Dean is not the future of the Democratic Party.

I guess what I'm trying to say that if the Democrats want the presidency, a centrist is their best chance.
