I don't think this will hurt him at all in the election...

Worst case, he might lose a few points among evangelical women not voting or going towards 3rd party candidates, but won't make a real impact in the election even in places like NC and North FL.

It's not like the dude appeared explicitly in an actual soft-core porn video (Although that would require serious brain scrubbing after watching).

Additionally Playboy doesn't carry the same stigma that other magazine publications have, and also even online porn consumption is much closer to gender neutral, and no longer associated with sleazy acts in porno cinemas, and guys with trenchcoats flashing people in the streets.

His comments over the years regarding women are much more damaging than appearing in a softcore Playboy video from the early '80s popping a bottle of champaigne.

While it is simply an appearance (no action or nudity on his part) and to most rational people this would be practically irrelevant, I do think we should take into consideration the effects this would have it was Sec. Clinton who made a cameo appearance in a softcore porn video. It'd be plastered everywhere as breaking news, the Republicans would go berserk condemning her and Bill as moral degenerates, that the Democratic Party is full of debauchery and advocates moral decay, she'd be slut shamed, and the uneducated rabble would be demanding her head.
