It's hard to define "heard of" but I'll say Moreno Valley, CA.

Kind of ironic because I used to live in CA, although not in southern CA.

I haven't been in the San Diego area yet, just LA so didn't know this one.  Stockton I knew of, but not exactly where it was.

Next would be Hialeah, Florida. Never heard of that and I still never made it to Florida (but I've been to like 36 states)

For me the easier question is which would you never be able to name as one of the most populous cities.

The answer to that question is Arlington, TX.

I think it's hard to say which is the biggest one you've NEVER heard of because maybe you've been told the city exists, or it has been mentioned in conversation, but you just can't remember it.
