Today I am announcing my official candidacy for the House of Representatives. I look forward to joining a distinguished and qualified group of public servants, Labor and otherwise, who are also seeking this esteemed and noble office.

I believe it necessary for myself to run for the House in order to give a voice to Middle America who have been long abused by the privileged elites in our nation who continue to oppress the vulnerable and silence the cries of the working class.

Although I am a loyal member of the Labor Party, I believe that partisan hackery is what holds this nation back from achieving true prosperity. I look forward to bipartisan cooperation with all members of the House. I am campaigning on a platform made up of the following:

- Economic Fairness: Tossing trade deals that harm the middle class, strengthening unions, expanding public services and welfare

-Educational Excellence: Providing our teachers and students with all the necessary government aid to ensure a sound foundation for the future

-Non-Interventionist Foreign Policy: Expanding the power and the presence of the United States through diplomatic means.

- Direct Democracy: More referendums means greater power to individual voters.

-Respect for Regional Power: Respecting the rights and abilities of the regional governments and bringing political power closer to the homes of Middle America.

Seeing as there will be no Labor candidate for the Southern Senate Class II seat, I find it necessary to withdraw my candidacy for the House of Representatives and instead seek election to the Senate. It is altogether imperative that the South be sending competent and honest folks to the halls of the Federal government and I believe that I am the right man for the job.

I am continuing my platform of community values and economic fairness, and I hope to be a part of a great movement that will ensure long lasting prosperity and good will in Atlasia for generations to come.

I can't think of a single populist in Atlasia I'd rather see run. While you may not have New Labor's libertarian leaning philosophy, you understand compromise, principles, and people. Hopefully you will win this election handily. You definitely deserve to.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it's official. I have competition in the Senate race. And it's coming from the worst the Federalists have to offer. Legislator Santander is a known bigot, avowed fascist and has advocated for the genocide of various folks on numerous occasions. I ask Southern voters to look past party lines and vote based on what they believe is right for our government.

Mr. Santander cannot be elected on the back of partisan hackery. It would a disgrace to the Southern traditions of hard working, community values and earnest hospitality to elect such a vile character. We must move forward as a region away from the unfortunate and reprehensible chapters of our past and look to elect candidates that will represent the true spirit and nature of our beloved Dixieland.

This decision was a long time coming. As the Labor Party continues to go down the dark path of corporatism and neoliberalism, I must do what is right for myself and for the South. I am crossing the floor to the Federalist Party.

But let there be no mistaking, I will continue to be a staunch defender for the rights of the vulnerable and the working man. It is a center-point of my platform to ensure economic stability for the underclass and the oppressed. And to bring community values back to the forefront of our society.
