7 point swing to her since 9/20

Clinton 45 (43)
Trump 39 (44)
Johnson 9 (6)
Undecided/Other/Refused 7

White
Clinton 39 (35)
Trump 61 (65)

Black
Clinton 98 (98)
Trump 2 (2)

Goofy likely voter screen: In order for a respondent to qualify as a likely voter, they had to say they planned to vote in November, that they were absolutely certain they planned to vote and that they knew the precinct where they would vote.

This is the poll with the super-tight LV screen too. Clinton has led in all 4 NC polls since the debate. Nothing else to say but great poll for HRC

I think they have been relatively Clinton friendly.

Unlike Selzer, Elon actually got the full ballot question right by not including Jill Stein in the list of choices. Next to her name it says, "don't read" because Stein is not on the ballot but is a write-in candidate. Therefore, to actually vote for Stein in NC, a voter has to volunteer her name without seeing it.

They also asked the Johnson supporters for second preferences and Clinton wins 50% to Trump's 17%. However, there were only 46 Johnson voters interviewed for that question so that is a very small sample size

Funny--I was watching Joe Scarborough this morning talking about polls--and stating how Trump is staying so competitive and emphasizing the Ohio and Pennsylvania polls in Quinnipiac.  Nothing about the fact that Hillary leading in all polling in NC (and that she is well ahead in the Franklin & Marshall poll in PA).

Joe wants:

1. a horserace
2. Trump to like him
3. to not seem like an elite and that he gets the everyman

It seems that Trump has accelerated dramatically North Carolina's drift towards the Democrats.
Normally Georgia shouldn't be that far behind.

There has been so much "Clinton should be doing better" over the past few days.

I'd love to believe this, but Elon isn't the best pollster.

Yeah, this looks like an outlier. Still, having outliers showing Hillary so high is good news.

Evidence of collapses occur in polls that first look like outliers.

Barring some extreme landslide win in all upcoming debates and what not, this election is primarily over.

"Despite her gains, Hillary gains no points with the African American community, going from 98% to 98% in a stunning lack of momentum.  Unskewed to C+1."

Just a lovely, beautiful poll. The kind of poll you want to wake up to. The kind of poll you want to grab and hold onto forever. The kind of poll that you hope will never leave you again.

It does seem that NC is swinging a bit harder towards Clinton with the Post-Debate bounce than some other states, excepting possibly CO & PA, looking a the Q poll and this, combined with the previous two PPP polls.

It makes me really curious for a new poll of GA, and SC as well (Although obviously after things settle down with the tropical storm/ Hurricane situation).

Great to see Trump holding strong with The Blacks! Trump is collapsing statewide, but he has not lost any support among The Blacks. They realize how much Trump loves them, and are finally showing  some love back.
