Clinton 46
Trump 44
Johnson 5
Stein (not on ballot)

Five weeks from the Nov. 8 election, North Carolina remains a toss-up in the presidential race, according to a WRAL News poll released Tuesday.

Democrat Hillary Clinton edges Republic Donald Trump 46 to 44 percent, well within the margin of error of +/- 3.9 percentage points in the Survey USA poll. The firm contacted 656 likely voters statewide between last Thursday and Monday to compile its results.

I think the top line is close to right though. We can conclude that after the debate, Clinton has a small, but consistent advantage in North Carolina which is enough to move the state to Lean Dem

I can't take all the winning out of North Carolina. Give us some Arizona polls!

So yet another poll taken post-debate and pre- "Taxgate" showing Clinton in the lead in NC.

Crosstabs are bizarre to say the least, although looking at the suburban numbers it certainly seems to explain the dramatic statewide swing towards Clinton we have seen Post-Debate.

Wacky crosstabs have been SurveyUSA's calling card for years now.

Looks like Toss-Up/Tilt D is the best way to describe NC, at this point.

Due to Trumps COLLAPSE, should the RNC remove him from the ballot and put Bob Dole on the ticket? Even low energy Bob Dole won CO, NC and VA.

CO, NC, and VA in 1996 were quite different from today.  CO and VA were probably lost for the Republicans no matter who the nominee was.
