Both tiny, rural states I've never been to that are hardly ever relevant to my life.  Draw.

West Virginia has energy and has excitement even though they don't win in anything. The residents of New Hampshire ruin everything with their no taxes for anything attitude, which severely limits anything fun from happening in the state.

Well, I have a college education and most of the people I interact with daily also have one, so with the exception of a couple of niche locales, I'd think WV wouldn't have much for me.  Plus, there's all that death in WV, I'd think it would be depressing to be around.  New Hampshire easily.

Your hatred of WV is really something. You're obsessed with this.

It's a fact that WV has the lowest rate of College graduates.  It's a fact that they have the highest death rate of any state (by far), including the highest drug overdose death rate of any state. Sure, I could live in Morgantown or the far East Panhandle and not be bothered by such things (and many, many other WV problems) but NH would be a far better place to live no matter how many angry women it has.

Bernie Bros and angry women > homophobic hicks

Have you seen how much marijuana they got down there? Anywhere with that much pot is bound to be a lovefest of epic proportions - not much bashing going on down there!

I was born in WV....some awfully beautiful areas there, and some God awful areas there.  But it's better than the frozen tundra of Keene in February.

Elitism for sure. Not sure about racism however. Both states are lily-white.

No, just the particularly way you dislike NH is sexist. Also you're sexist otherwise.

NH is of course fiscally conservative while WV is socially conservative.

Apparently calling people from WV "racist, stupid hicks" is now totally okay but saying NH voters are racist or sexist is the worst thing ever. Latte liberalism at its best. Tongue

Should be a quasi-oxymoron, of course, but some of our red avatars are much more concerned with broadcasting to the world how stupid conservatives are than actually living up to the political legacy of liberalism.

New Hampshire, although its my least favorite New England state.

I've always been fascinated by McDowell County though. If it was Bedford, NH vs. Welch, WV  I'd vote for the latter.

I lived in West Virginia for two years. It's beautiful but depressing. I would not live there again.
