The Campaign Trail: Final Days

The last days centered around Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Minnesota mostly. Any two of those three would likely be enough for either to carry the election. Sanchez campaigned with Senators John Enduro and Robert Badger of those two states, while Griffin campaigned with Snow Guy and B. Red TD in Minnesota and Irwin Spear in Pennsylvania. Virginia, another sleeper state, received visits as well, with Sanchez, panicking, trying to win over some disaffected Steinberg supporters. New Hampshire stopped being competitive when Griffin aired ads of Gov. Volunteer of Tennessee's sexist, anti-New Hampshire tirade from the previous December.

Awesome, glad I'm in it (and I'm a senator!), but I would've endorsed Leinad.

Welcome to Election Night 2016 on CNN! I'm your host, former Indiana Lieutenant Governor Harry Truman, and with me are my commentators, Senator Levi L. Rockowitz of New York and David Krol, from Massachusetts.

Truman: We're anticipating early returns from Kentucky and Indiana in a minute here, but first, Levi and David: Who do you think will win?
Rockowitz: It's gonna be very close, Harry. I think it all comes down to Virginia, and how well Steinberg has done as a surrogate.
Krol: Oh, I think Sanchez has this in the bag. He might even be able to take Georgia.
Truman: Very interesting. Let's see some returns!

INDIANA (literally 1 random precinct reporting)

Eric Sanchez 100%
Adam Griffin 0%

Other 0%

Rockowitz: Oy vey.
Truman: Keep in mind, this is only nine votes from bumf[inks] nowhere, Indiana.
Krol: Still means something. This precinct voted 20% for Obama.
Rockowitz: Stupid goyim!

Thanks for reading! Cheesy

Truman: As we're waiting for more poll closings at 7:00, let's look at what we've got from Indiana and Kentucky so far.

Indiana (17% reporting)

Eric Sanchez 49%
Adam Griffin 29%
Ken Poleon 14%

Daniel Leinad 7%

Kentucky (8% reporting)

Eric Sanchez 62%
Adam Griffin 33%
Ken Poleon 4%
Daniel Leinad >1%

Krol: These are huge margins for Sanchez
Rockowitz: But we don't have nearly enough data yet!
Krol: This is thousands of votes, Levi.
Rockowitz: Ugh...

7 PM

Truman: Alright, folks. We've got some poll closings.

We can call South Carolina for ERIC SANCHEZ

Rockowitz: GODDAMNIT! *throws chair*

Truman: Alright, then...

We can call Vermont for ADAM GRIFFIN
We can call Indiana for ERIC SANCHEZ
We can call Kentucky for ERIC SANCHEZ
Virginia and Georgia are TOO CLOSE TO CALL

Rockowitz: Well, David, Georgia and Virginia are too close. That's good for us.
Krol: Yes, but South Carolina, your beloved pet obsession, went immediately for Sanchez, even though Griffin is from a neighboring state. And the margins we have so far... brutal!

Truman: Here is the map so far... Keep in mind, some of these are from very few precincts.

Thanks for reading! Sorry I haven't been very on top of this...

The story.

What happens in the Samchez administration? Does he run of reelection? What about that senator John Enduro?
