Ahhh...but everybody knows that Clinton won the black vote against Bernie. This is nothing new.

If that were the case, then we wouldn't have people here claiming that blacks secretly hate Hillary and won't turn out for her, or that Trump will win near 20% of the black vote because of his trade policies and because blacks are really angry about Hillary's 2008 campaign.

I remember being amazed watching the South Carolina Primary where Hillary was treated really well when she visited black churches with people like Clyburn and Lewis.

There actually is no difference between the two.

The black vote is the reason why Hillary Clinton is our nominee right now.

Take black voters out of the calculation, Bernie Sanders would have been our nominee. Black voters are a powerful force in the Democratic party. They are around 12 to 13% of voters, who vote 9 to 1 Democratic.

There is no reason to even suggest they would swing to Trump, of all people.

In a perfect world, Hillary Clinton would be just finishing up her two terms, and we would have Barack Obama as our nominee right now.. but this world is not perfect.

YES!! Clinton would have been better in 2009-2017 than Obama and Obama would have been better in 2017 and forward than Clinton. Clinton would almost certainly have made much more of the democratic supermajority of the early Obama years.
