And Clinton's opposition research team, who was most likely sitting on this for months and sent it to the Washington Post to inflict maximum damage (right before the second debate that Trump must win to keep any chance of victory alive)

My feeling is this originated with the Clinton campaign. And if it did, it shows that they probably have the whole month choreographed with a drip of new leaks.

I would say the chances of Clinton having this audio and sitting on it until release were 99.9%

Political fallout of this already being felt:

Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte says Donald Trump’s lewd comments about women are “totally inappropriate and offensive.”

What will Ryan and Pence do?

Ayotte is completely toast now

I did try to report it, but I didn't know their name.

But what if he said that she let him do it?

Don't have a reason to not beleive you but your story looks thin to me. Nevermind.

Well, it's not nice what he said, no question about that, but it's not a sexual assault if she doesn't say no.

If a woman initially consents and then tells the man to stop, but the man continues his advances, it is certainly a sexual assault

I agree.

That's Donald Trump's sexual behavior in a nutshell. Many women have been awed by Trump's lifestyle and wealth, and Trump makes a move on them. Initially they consent because they're so enthralled by this wealthy playboy, but when they see he's a creep, they tell him to stop. He doesn't know the meaning of the word NO.

Additionally, if a woman is contacted or spoken to sexually without consent (meaning she has not given her approval), it is a sexual assault/sexual harassment

Mike Pence was "beside himself" and his wife was furious

This only leaks if Pence wants it out there

Usual mens' banter more characteristic of teenagers.  Shows that Trump,  who at that time was about 50,  was psychologically  an underdeveloped  youth.  But now,  11 years later, he may have become more grownup.

He was 59 at the time and is still a psychologically warped, unfit human being at 70

$100 that Melania didn't write that and doesn't actually think that. She's probably figuring out a way to impoverish Donald in the impending divorce proceedings (and she'd have every right to clean him out)

I bet Bill Clinton has worse in his past, but he was a good president. We need to put these personal issues aside, and both candidates need to start talking about what they can offer the country.

mister trump's campaign was always exclusive about personal issues. if you put those aside (which would be strange, since he obviously built his victories on them), what else does he have to offer?

Change, strength, hope, & success.

Moral and financial bankruptcy isn't exactly change, strength, hope and success. You took the 1984 Orwell slogan to heart a bit
