Arguably the worst nominee in the history of American politics.

No  :  James Buchanan , George Wallace, John Davis, William Jennings Bryan, Franklin Pierce were worse

Huh

(Also BK is right)

That guy was far left economically and far right socially the worst of both sides

The issue isn't that Trump is a hateful, deranged bigot. The issue is that he makes no effort to cover it up. His legacy will be a change in the Republican Party's presentation but not its policies.

That's a very shallow understanding of where the political fault lines of the Progressive Era lay.

"If" he loses- Depends on the future of the GOP. If it reverts back to its old self he'll just be a terrible nominee who cost them with Latinos and the millennial generation in the long run. If it gradually turns into a populist party somewhat in his image his campaign will be remembered somewhat the way Barry Goldwater's is. Either way he'll still be a national disgrace

If he wins- Worst president this side of Andrew Johnson.

The man who led the fight to save Western civilization.

Take that crap back to Stormfront.

Or Breitbart (AKA Diet Stormfront)

His legacy and his name will be attached to nothing positive.
It will be all negative, and he only has himself to blame.

That's true. Mainly what I meant was that characterizing Bryan as 'far right socially' does a disservice to his actual ideology, which doesn't really exist any more, and doesn't really acknowledge where the different strains within the Progressive Movement were actually coming from and how they saw themselves.

I think what Santander really wants to say is ...
"The man who led the fight to save the chance for an all white civilization."

Hundreds of years from now, every second Tuesday in November, the people living in whatever human civilization has become will still take their small, man-shaped orange cutouts (taking care to keep the "hands" proportionately tiny) with their mops of fake hair attached on one side and wrapped around the head, deposit them into their human waste receptacles accompanied by chants of "Dump Trump".

In some order:

a)a manifestation of white backlash against multiculturalism, globalization, immigration, racial equality, and political correctness
b)a manifestation of feelings of economic insecurity and disappointment in the post-Great Recession era
c)a manifestation of the distrust of political elites and the power of celebrity culture
d)one of the worst presidential nominees, in history, in terms of temperament, qualifications, and effectiveness as a politician
e)a huge embarrassment to the Republican Party

Exposing a large number of Republican politicians as spineless Vichy worms who would welcome and endorse a dictatorial leader if it weren't for the fact that he made lewd comments.

The man who led the fight to save Western civilization.

If Donald Trump is an example for a leader in "the fight to save Western civilization" then quite frankly Western civilization isn't worth saving.

Donald Trump will be remembered in history as the embodiment of all the worst descriptions that can possibly be used for a person.

Millions of people will remember him as a bigot, a fool, a swindler, a pervert, and most of all, the biggest loser of all time...

Any one of the above descriptions is bad enough for a presidential candidate, but Donald Trump is a true example of all of the above descriptions simultaneously describing him accurately.
