Usually, pointing out how the other side is worse doesn't play well in apologies. Normally I would say that any married man should know that fact very well, but I guess a twice-divorced many-times cheater might not.

It was like his campaign sat in a room for 10 hours and decided to come up with the worst response possible.

It looked like something a high school would put on public tv and Trump seemed like he was taken hostage and reading something against his will.

His likely strategy is "pull Clinton down into the gutter" and then hope for a Clinton scandal and finally to rely on a voter split to maybe win.

Then again, maybe I am flattering him by assuming he has a strategy.

He's a sociopathic narcissist, he doesn't have any capacity for emoting. His delivery was cold, aloof, and insincere. It was painful for him to do that video, he didn't believe in what he was saying, it was an aggravating chore.
